OldMod67 2nd May 2019		Book Alexandre Dumas - Marguerite De Valois (1908)	Book dimensions 6.75 X 4.25 inches. First issue of this edition 1908. Reprinted 1910, 1913, 1917, 1921. Nine page introduction, followed by contents page. Originally published as La Reine Margot, apparently translated at some point by David Bogue, although no translator is listed in this edition.

As an aside,ppint, in the late 80s we had Chris Foss for a signing at the bookshop ( I think the store manager knew him..) He had some lovely artwork with him, not the Joy of Sex though (which he also illustrated!) There's a theme here.....

The cover states 'John Wyndham writing as John Beynon' . However, Child of Power was written under the name Wyndham Parkes. The author's real name being John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris....so really this book is John Beynon, writing as John Beynon (except one story) but being marketed as by John Wyndham! Moderators, feel free to change my entry if you think the names should be the other way around!

OldMod67 12th Aug 2018		Book Charles Beaumont - Perchance To Dream (2015)	Cover details correct, I'll upload the cover if I ever get my laptop/scanner situation sorted! He was born Charles Leroy Nutt, and did use a few names, McNutt for example, but by the time these stories were published, he'd changed his name legally to Charles Beaumont.

OldMod67 14th Jul 2018		Book Richard Barnes - The Who Maximum R&B (1982)	As an aside, when I got this in December 1982 and removed the flexi (which was attached via the binding inside if I recall correctly) it must have weakened it severely as within a year or two the pages started to come out. I still have them all, but it's kept in a PVC L.P. sleeve! NB My other Eel Pie book (Mods! also by Richard Barnes) which I had two years earlier met a similar fate, but to a lesser degree....
OldMod67 14th Jul 2018		Book Chris Charlesworth - The Complete Guide To The Music Of The Who (1995)	Part of a really popular series from Omnibus in the 1990's that I kept as basic stock and sold regularly. Later on some were issued in a larger (not so handy) format. Again, when scanner sorted I'll upload covers it no-one else does so in the meantime.
