Quad5point1 8th Oct 2021		CD Album Grannie - Grannie (2021)	Review Although owning the 2012 Record Collector re-issue of this album I have never been able to play it because my equipment is in storage. It was great to stumble across this _very_ limited release on CD and finally get around to hear what it was like. The music overall is quite good but I wouldn't rave about it as it all sounds very amateurish and this is no doubt down to how it was recorded in the first place. The band though, with a proper producer and more time to record these songs might well have been a very different matter. It has the makings of some great sounds and in particular the guitar player who sounds like he had the talent to take it even further. His playing on this album has the sound and feel of Kim Simmonds on the Savoy Brown album Looking In which is one of my personal favourites. So all-in-all a worthy effort and one defintely for the Savoy Brown fans out there. I would give it 7/10 for the effort and it's just a pity they couldn't have taken it further. 6 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?

Quad5point1 19th Sep 2021		CD Album Various Artists - Dreamboats And Miniskirts (2015)	Cheers Steel-River-Wet, this is actually quite a good selection of songs. For me there are 11 I could live without but on the whole the sequencing of the tracks is excellent which is rare in a compilation. Overall I would give it an 8 / 10 for enjoyability + it's available for a measly £2.89 on Amazon brand new including postage!

This site endeavours to correctly catalogue CD's and slot them into the correct pigeon hole. The artist and track listing is about the last thing to consider (but not exclusively) how a disc should be defined and a space here or a full stop or coma there can make the world of difference as to how the disc should be entered and the main point behind all the dialogue is to ascertain the origins and bona-fides of a particular release. Maybe not of any interest to you in particular but when you come to making entries yourself you really need to try and make sure that you (to the best of you knowledge) try and get the entry right. In CD World that's a big ask, but there are people out there who are trying their hardest to do just that. Even if you get it nearly right there are always moderators and probably Magic Marmalade in particular who will correct any mistakes made while also informing the contributor how it should be.

In the UK it was released on the album as a Roling Stones track and not a single. The people involved in the making of the track were;- The Rolling Stones Bill Wyman - lead vocals, bass, piano, Hammond organ Mick Jagger - backing vocals Keith Richards - acoustic guitar, backing vocals Brian Jones - Mellotron, sound effects Charlie Watts - drums Additional musicians Nicky Hopkins - harpsichord Ronnie Lane - backing vocals Steve Marriott - backing vocals Full details on Wikipedia

Quad5point1 16th Aug 2021		CD Album 10cc - 10cc's Greatest Hits 1972-1978 (1983)	I've added scans for the 2nd press disc with the Atom symbol printed on the centre hub, later issues had the clear hub as in philwill's disc image. I also added both sides of the CD Tray insert which was probably issued for the 1st press green arrow disc as it has the Cat# printed on the inside. This appeared on all the earliest CD Pressings but was later discontinued. The CD Tray insert rear is a variant which doesn't have the box under the barcode with PG 900 in it.

Quad5point1 6th Aug 2021		CD Album George Harrison - All Things Must Pass (2021)	That's good MM probably safest to go with the 6th as the official date, would it be a sensible thing to add into notes (for future reference) that it was actually released to the public three days earlier on the 3rd. It's the first time Amazon have ever sent me a pre-order 3 days early. I had thought about making it international before adding but because it had Made In EU all over it that's why I went with Europe. After seeing that sailorsam from the USA had it I thought it probably should be International.
