TheJudge 26th Apr 2021 | | CD AlbumPeter, Paul And Mary - Around The Campfire (1998) | You meant a comma, but I've corrected it anyway. I've also removed a duplicate entry for this album.

TheJudge 3rd Feb 2021 | | CD AlbumSamantha Fox - Play It Again, Sam: The Fox Box (2017) | 'Fraid not. But it was for charidee: Discogs entry.

TheJudge 14th Jan 2021 | | CD AlbumKate Bush - The Whole Story (1986) | Update to self: the Note probably means that there was no indication of who the producer was on the re-recorded vocal, so I've amended the Note to reflect that better.
I still don't understand why she felt the need to issue a version with a re-recorded vocal; after all, the original was an absolute classic.
She did the same thing with this a few years later and - to my mind at least - completely destroyed Moments Of Pleasure by completely re-working it.

TheJudge 12th Jan 2021 | | CD AlbumVarious Artists - Mojo Presents There Is A Light That Never Goes Out (2012) | I think it was attempt at one of those 'gritty northern' tropes that designers and meeja types in London tend to go in for. At least The Smiths (who had a lot of sleeves with images which had no connection to the actual music) were actually from 'the north'.
TheJudge 8th Jan 2021 | | CD AlbumKate Bush - The Whole Story (1986) | From the Notes: "but there's no indication of any difference with regard to the re-recorded vocal track on this release."
Then why does it say 'new vocal' on the booklet, the rear card and the disc(s)? I think that part of the Note needs to be deleted.

TheJudge 9th Dec 2020 | | CD AlbumThe Who - Sell Out (1995) | Just noticed that 'perspiration' is spelled wrong on the caption to the Townshend photo. It has this in common with the vinyl edition of twenty years later (see 3715609).
TheJudge 9th Dec 2020 | | CD AlbumHawkwind - In Search Of Space (2001) | It's always been an issue with that album. I think it's down to people only reading what they expect to be there (you wouldn't expect to see that 'X', for instance, added to the fact that it's partially obscured by the artwork), and that 'error' then being duplicated in all sorts of ways (in discographies and other listings, for example).

TheJudge 30th Sep 2020 | | CD AlbumSufjan Stevens - Illinoise (2005) | I've finally got around to buying this, and let me tell you that it's an astounding album! A variety of styles played and produced to bring out the best in some high-quality material.
I'm going through his back catalogue on YouTube at the moment, and there are at least two other albums which I'll probably be buying soon; he's a most remarkable artist.

TheJudge 12th Sep 2020 | | CD AlbumRobben Ford And The Blue Line - Robben Ford And The Blue Line (1992) | It's a GRP cat#, but I've put Stretch in as the secondary label now.
TheJudge 31st Aug 2020 | | CD AlbumGorefest - False (1992) | Nuclear Blast is a German label, but it seems there were a lot of reissues from another source trying to pass themselves off as NB releases. Given what you've said about the insert, it's possible this is one of those.
TheJudge 31st Aug 2020 | | CD AlbumGorefest - False (1992) | "Wrexham, England"!!!!? Bloody cheek!
Actually, The Windings was only a fifteen-minute walk from where I'm sitting now. Quite a few bands recorded there, including Chumbawamba (Disc Two of this) and Hecate Enthroned.

TheJudge 9th Jun 2020 | | CD AlbumCreedence Clearwater Revival - Creedence Clearwater Revival (1994) | To me, it suggest that Fantasy had the original issue but that this one is released by Carrere. Suggest no change.
TheJudge 6th Jun 2020 | | CD AlbumVarious Artists - Detroit (Rare Tracks From) Vol. 1 (1994) | Agreed. BAR was, though, a subsidiary of Marginal. I've changed this release to 'BAR' and 'BAR' to Belgium.
TheJudge 3rd May 2020 | | CD AlbumCreedence Clearwater Revival - Bayou Country (1987) | That flag has also been used as the flag of the Council of Europe. We needed something to represent the continent (the CoE has 47 member states at time of writing) for pan-continental releases.

TheJudge 16th Sep 2019 | | CD AlbumRockets To Ruin - Rockets To Ruin (2004) | There's this at AllMusic, but it gives 2008 as the year of release.
TheJudge 8th Sep 2019 | | CD AlbumCannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else (1986) | Likely yours was manufactured in NL for Europe-wide distribution. What's the title of track 06 on yours? If it's 'Alison's Uncle' then you should add a new entry (with 'Europe' as the country). If it's called 'Bangoon', then perhaps it should be added to the existing Europe entry as a variant.
