| | I do not recommend it, the only reason I did have to watch it was because my mum always wanted to watch it, ...well whatever kept her happy.
Basically its one of the most drawn-out 'game shows' that pretty much gloats on the emotional damage dished out onto the one person that has to choose boxes, and the odds are heavily stacked against them. I can't remember if goes on for 1 hour or 30 mins, but they are just picking boxes, viewers can't even get involved shouting out answers to general knowledge questions.
fail ;D |

| | If I found myself on this show choosing boxes I would simple choose in sequence 1 through to 15 and avoid the stress of it all. |

Whyperion SUBS 20th Aug 2016
| | The upcoming September 2016 series (12) will be the last , apparently.
If I were Ch4 or the producers I'd consider giving it a 13week run on ITV
http://news.tvguide.co.uk/deal-no-deal-cancelled/
The format was changed a bit a few UK series ago - with the extra box (double, loose everything, + £10K , No Difference and some other offer I cannot remember ) , guessing the opening value +/- 10% to get one box at a time offers and some other banker gimmicks.
It can be addictively entertaining , at times car crash TV. |

| | The UK version is shown in over 50 countries and there have been 2,806 epsidoes to date with enough episodes to last till next summer. The US version only ran for 499 epsidoes and have only been shown in an handful of countries. |

| | Australian version of this show still airs in the evening at 5 p.m on channel 7 hosted by Andrew O'Keefe (cousin of Australia's king of rock 'n roll Johnny O'Keefe). According to Wiki - Deal or No Deal is an Australian game show that airs on the Seven Network. It was the first international version of the game show, after the original Dutch version. It was the first of the versions to use the Deal or No Deal name. |

| | You're kidding - the Howie Mandel-hosted version was huge and lasted for 5 years. The pilot was actually shot in 2004 with Patrick Kielty of Ireland as the host but it got retooled with Mandel. I'll create a listing for the US version. |
