Just picked up the first issue with the blue sleeve and black/gold label and have to agree with you Mike that the audio quality is superb. Interesting that there was no blurb about her on the first one but there was on the second. I can't imagine who would have bought this at the time, particularly the first press which had nothing to say who Julia was.

Not so easy

Cliff Gallup bowed out at an early stage as he was an older family man and had no interest i all the travelling. Wiki says he left in 1956 Bassist Jack Neal left about the same time
Russell Williford and then Johnny Meeks took over main guitar duties after that
Paul Peek replaced Wee Willie Williams
Dickie Harrell on drums
Bobby jones was the one who played Fender bass

The 1957-58 lineup was Johnny Meeks, Dickie Harrell, Paul Peek, and Tommy “Bubba” Facenda
I'd guess the telecaster is Milliford
