Comment by BenLPMarts: I only found 1 review in CB for 5 July 69 pg 37. LP did also chart BB same week . No review in RW [that I could find searching around that date] Odd/funny that ARSA 1st mention is not until 12 July 69 for Toronto CHUM.

Comment by BenLPMarts: CB & RW reviews 11 March 67 [CB pg 36; RW pg 1]. BB review & LP chart 18 March 67 [review back pg 84]. ARSA shows SLC UT T40 KNAK reporting 1st airplay 9 Jan 67 +1 more in Jan, then 6 more stations in Feb 67 and the floodgates open in March when record hit stores so both Jan & March '67 are correct. Interesting side note is that Lou Adler sold Dunhill to ABC late '66 and I saw 2 dif trades showing Adler & Clive Davis announcing CBS distributing Adler's new [then] Ode Records in March '67. Let's hear it for 'key man' AND 'non-compete' clauses as well as acetates, test pressings & advance promos.

Comment by whitewhale1965: Yes, old record nut. The operating room scene is really the back cover on mine, too.

Comment by whitewhale1965: Added variant a-side label image. Bottom print reads: Ⓒ Dunhill Records, Inc. MCMLXXI
On the back of the sleeve it says: " Manufactured By Record Club of America under special license". The b-side is identical to image #1515568.

Comment by Rrtid54: I just wanted to thank vidman45 for adding the inside gatefold. All other sites I've found have at least one error in the lyrics for American City Suite:
You could be king
If she believed your story
When it was over
If she laughed at you
It should be:
But it was over
Thanks for running this site; gotta go now, but I'll be back.

Comment by W.B.lbl: I still think Columbia Pitman's {Images #1354719 & 1354721} was better laid out than Santa Maria's {Images #3594185 & 3594186}.

Comment by robozuc: @TheDroid,
I agree with your considerations and I think that anyone who wants to talk about inner sleeves could take a look or contribute in 45spaces/Company Sleeves:Lp perhaps making a reference in the comments.
If I'm sure that the inner sleeve is authentic I usually add it, sometimes this is hidden like here , that's fine too. Comment by TheDroid: @robozuc - the real problem with relying on posted images of inner sleeves to determine completeness is that there is little or no assurance that the pictures sleeve was in the original packaging. There is also seldom any way to determine if a particular generic sleeve is associated with a particular album/LP. If there is a way to determine this (ie. Catalog #), then, of course, it should be included. With the proliferation of used record stores over the past 50-60 years, many sleeves have been changed in packaging, often with no care to even the label.

Comment by robozuc: @Kevin Walsh1
Personally I believe that being able to see the inner sleeves, even if generic, helps the collector to have a complete vision of the disc, the value can change depending on the completeness of the item.
But this is my personal opinion.
