Vinyl Album
Various Artists - Phil Spector's Christmas Album (1972)
I just got a Winchester copy with "Z-20" etched into both sides after the master number, but side one also has "#4" after the Z-20.

On side two there is a large asterisk stamped into it.

Vinyl Album
Johnny Mathis - Merry Christmas (1958)
Now, I have a copy of the mid `60's pressing with the new cover.
Side one looks like there's a kind of dot matrix looking thing stamped into it that is VERY faint, so, it LOOKS like is says "S (either H, M or W, I can't make it out) X7.
Side two has a faint dot matrix A next to a very large hand etched "14".
Other than that, there's only the Columbia master/matrix numbers stamped into it. It doesn't look at al like a Capitol pressing.

The Rare Earth - Get Ready (1969)
How can this be from Aug `69 when my copy has the date 6/22/70 etched into both sides?

Flip Wilson - Flippin' (1968)
Not a very funny album. It takes him a whole album side to tell two jokes. By the time you get to the punch line, you don't really care anymore.

Bobby Rydell - All The Hits Volume 2 (1963)
I was about to post this again because mine appeared to be a stereo copy, but, now I se that both mono AND stereo are listed on the cover and both have the exact same record number, C-1040!
Also, the date etched into the vinyl says 1/8/62 on the A-side and 1/8/63 on the B. Most likely, because it's a brand new year, the etcher was still used to writing 62.

Vinyl Album
Various Artists - Admiral Stereophonic Demonstration Record Featuring Exclusive Phantom 3rd Channel
On my copy, 7 tracks are visible on side 1 of the record, but 9 are listed on the label, however, the last track is NOT listed on the label!
On side 2, 8 tracks are shown and listed on the label, but, again, the 8th track on the record is not listed on the label.
In both cases, the last track appears to be about :30 long and has no music on it.

Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass - Whipped Cream & Other Delights (1965)
WHY is this NOT in the Herb Alpert section???? It's ONLY his most popular and famous album!!!

Vinyl Album
Elderberry Jak - Long Overdue
On the cover, his name is spelled, Lelan, but the label has the final "d".
I have a promo single from this album, "Vance's Blues", but it's on House Of The Fox Records. That label is associated with this one.
This album was from the very early `70's, but no date appears anywhere on it.

U.S. '69 - Yesterdays Folks (1969)
They also recorded under the name, The Mustard Family, but I'm not sure which name was first. Looks like The Mustard Family was first as their single from this album was released March of `69 and, nearest I can figure, this album was released June or July `69.

Dickie Goodman - Mr. Jaws And Other Fables By Dickie Goodman (1975)
I don't know what you mean by "not known". I saw this record a lot when it first came out! If you look through used records store bins under his name, you'll find this Dickie Goodman album WAY more than any others he did. "Mr. Jaws" was his biggest hit and all you have to do is look it up on YouTube to see that most people think it's his only record! It must be posted there DOZENS of times and parodied at least half a dozen times over the decades! I've even seen a parody of it performed live at the local Furries convention 8 years ago!
[YouTube Video]

The year before this album came out, IX Chains practically released the exact same album.

Dickie Goodman - Screwy T.V. (1974)
I'm guessing, but I'm pretty sure that's Dickie (it looks like his hair) and his wife, Susan on the cover.
There was actually no artist given on the album, but it IS Dickie Goodman. If you (mods) want to change it to No Artist Given, go right ahead. It WOULD be nice, though, if you could find a way to associate it with Dickie.
Although a few of these have the same titles as some of his break-ins, these are not break-ins!
As is noted on the entry here of, "My Son The Joke", it's very possible the audience on both of these albums is a laugh track added later because they sound exactly like the same group of people on both albums.

Dickie Goodman - My Son The Joke (Risque-Theque) (1964)
Review
This was Dickie's attempt to parody and capitalize on the Allan Sherman albums that were very popular at this time, although, Dickie re-wrote all these songs with a decidedly pornographic bent. I don't recall there being any dirty words used, though.
For some reason, he decided to sing these with a bit of a Jewish accent which, in my opinion, cheapened them even more. But, Jew humor was very popular back then, too. In some cases, it's almost embarrassing to listen to, and I'm almost NEVER embarrassed!!
When the album was released, it flopped miserably and Dickie vowed never to copy someone else's style again!
What's very strange is that 10 years later, he recorded another VERY bawdy album called, "Screwy T.V.", in which he did extremely raunchy parodies of t.v. shows of the day (All In The Family", "Marcus Welby, M.D.", "Bonanza", etc.), INCLUDING lots of dirty words! But, somehow, he had all of the same people in the audience doing the laughing!! I haven't yet bothered to compare them to see if it IS a laugh track he added, but the chances are pretty good that he did.
In order of appearance on the album, these are the songs parodied on the album.
Frere Jacques
Cool Water
Track 3 was a collection of very short parodies usually only one to 4 lines of each song, much like Allan Sherman's bit, "Shticks Of One".
Cielito Lindo
Red River Valley
If I Had A Hammer
Waltzing Matilda
Tavern In The Town
