Roger Kellaway - Centre Of The Circle (1972)
Kellaway arranged the orchestration on many of Melanie's hits and here he pays her a compliment with a whimsical arrangement of her song Centre Of The Circle, complete with one of the pop world's outstanding Toy Piano solos

Lay Karma Lay is a parody of a fashionable hypocrisy; lovely background vocals from the girls: "Not suitable for AM airplay"

Landscape is one of his better-known tracks

Art - Supernatural Fairy Tales (1967)
Thanks for pointing out that 'Weird' link esfera, and for adding It's All About. Looking at WIP 6022 on 45cat I see that we don't yet have the French issue listed, maybe you can oblige? (You can of course follow the links from there to Spooky Tooth, The V.I.P.’s and Art)

Vinyl Album
Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Of New York, Igor Stravinsky - The Fire Bird (1953)
Your videos match the 1946 live recording of Stravinsky's newly revised (1945) version, with the conductor taking over from Barbirolli in front of the PSO at Carnegie Hall on 28 January
This was reissued on CD by Naxos
I don't doubt it was released on 78s at the time; maybe someone from 78cat can advise

Van Dyke Parks - Discover America (1972)
The Four Mills Brothers is a deliciously sensuous arrangement and production, not least for the string arrangements and arco bass

Good work both. Next, the other nine LPs? ;-)

Vinyl Album
Lonnie Mack - For Collectors Only, The Wham Of That Memphis Man! (1970)
The 'distressed' and Sellotaped cover on the front of this Elektra release must be a copy of the original Fraternity album, and close scrutiny shows the legend "Fraternity" has been covered up

Vinyl Album
Various Artists - Ragtime Piano Roll Volume 1 (1954)
This looks like an interesting series, but I can't find anything to suggest it was ever re-issued on CD
Thanks to Tony P we can see the other three records:
Volume 2 AL3523
Volume 3 AL3542
Volume 4 AL3563

There are some comments about this on 45cat. See for example http://www.45cat.com/record/bug77&rc=13603#13603

It would be nice to see some images of your copy if you can add them

Lonnie Mack - Whatever's Right (1969)
I love Lonnie's style on Mt. Healthy Blues - keeps me on the edge of my seat as they languidly stumble through a blistering twelve-bar
See the YT comments about Lonnie's guitars and the session at Jewel

The Dillards - Wheatstraw Suite (1968)
The throwaway track I'll Fly Away is worth more than the entirety of most albums.
This hymn may now be regarded as 'traditional' but it was written by Albert E. Brumley (1905–1977) so is comparatively recent although it is very much in the style of the hymn books of Moody and Sankey. The Blind Boys Of Alabama had a hit with it but I don't know when in their 75 year history

It looks as though the front cover was removed from this copy and probably framed to hang on the wall
