Problem Child 2nd Nov 2024		Vinyl Album Alvin Stardust - Rock With Alvin (1975)	Despite Alvin's current fame/celebrity, which maybe was on the slide by now, this didn't enter the charts until 4th October and in two weeks peaked at No. 52.
Problem Child 1st Feb 2024		Vinyl Album The Jam - In The City (1977)	My copy looks the same as above but has a gold stamp top right corner saying:- 'Limited Edition special price'. Don't know when this dates from as I didn't buy near its release. My side 1 has ALLEN and side two has JA etched in the run-off groove.

Problem Child 3rd Nov 2022		Vinyl Album The Damned - Grave Disorder (2001)	LP Details added. Nitro Records, Huntington Beach, California. I also have a release date of 8th October and 5th November. I had to wait until 21st of November for my copy to arrive at HMV Oxford Circus, obviously some distribution problem. Receipt still inside sleeve - £10.99p. Side 2, track 5 is titled 'W' on the sleeve and label, but has a faded 'God We Trust' on the lyric inner sleeve.

Problem Child 1st Nov 2022		Vinyl Album Slade - Slayed? (1972)	According to the 'Slade are for life... not just Christmas fb site, this was released on 1st November. It didn't chart until the 9th December, which sounds a bit late to me given their success at the time. The 1st December looks like an option, if not the last week of November, but 5 weeks to chart?
Problem Child 29th Sep 2022		Vinyl Album Plastic Mermaids - It's Not Comfortable To Grow (2022)	2nd LP from Isle of Wight band the Plastic Mermaids. Written, Produced and Recorded by them. Comes in a plain white die-cut inner sleeve. The CD version has 2 extra tracks. Released 30th September. Matrix numbers, Side A; 236169E1. 1103747. K Tuff. (- Kevin Tuffy, who mastered the LP) Side B; 236169E2. 1103747.
Problem Child 17th May 2022		Vinyl Album Fat Earthers - Bored (2022)	First release from Isle of Wight punk/grunge duo Fat Earthers added. There is next to no info on the sleeve and label apart from song titles. No writing credits either, though they did write them all, but no producer credit. 'Ears Peeled' logo and 'Prison Records' logo on sleeve rear. Run-off groove info:- Kevin@curvepusher. Record number should be PR 017, but the 'R' looks a little like an 'e'.
Problem Child 2nd Mar 2022		Vinyl Album Ambrose Slade - Beginnings (2008)	I remember Record Collector selling this as a limited edition about 12 years ago. Saw them at a record fair in Olympia with it, but don't know any details I'm afraid.

Problem Child 24th Oct 2021		Vinyl Album Eddie And The Hot Rods - Life On The Line (1977)	I think it's worth noting that the single sheet insert, on the reverse has the cat number top right and the Island logo and address centered at the bottom in white on a black matt finish print. My copy, which I did not buy on release, has 25 Island artist LP sleeves on each side of inner sleeve. I did not get a plain black die-cut sleeve as noted above. All LP's are approx 1970 - 1977. This LP entered the Album Charts on 3rd December 1977 and reached No. 27 - their best placing for an LP. It spent 3 weeks on the chart.
Problem Child 19th Sep 2021		Vinyl Album Vince Hill - Edelweiss (1967)	This LP entered the LP charts on 20th May 1967 and reached No. 23. The June release is therefor a bit out. Given that the hit single 'Edelweiss' was in the charts in Feb-March, maybe even an April release date.

Problem Child 24th Mar 2021		Vinyl Album Cassie - The Light Shines On (2021)	Info and images added. Formed on the Isle of Wight in early 1978 under the name of High Voltage. The line up included Nigel Hayles; Gtr (- who died in 2002), Clive Lewis; Gtr and Nicholas Dingley; Drums. After joining another IOW band Dingley later left for London and found a seat in The Demons, formerly Demon Preacher, (later Alien Sex Fiend) and London punk band The Dark. In 1982 he joined Finnish glam rockers Hanoi Rocks under the his new name name of 'Razzle'. He was to meet his fate in a car crash in the US in 1984. The band, now with 'Electric' Eric Biggs on bass were joined singer Debbie Barker in 1978 and Chris Lines on drums changing their name to Black Dog. Clive Lewis left in 1979 to form a band with his brother Hugh Kim Lewis, called Hunter. Black Dog changed their name to Flirt in 1979. In late '79 Chris Lines and High Kim Lewis switched drums stools in their respective bands! The band met their new manager, former Black Sabbath co-manager and producer Wilf Pine, while playing a gig in a village pub in September '81. He re-named 'Cassie' in '82. Apart from two tracks recorded in Portsmouth, all the other tracks on this LP were recorded on the Isle of Wight between January 1980 and October 1983. Due to the success of the re-release of their first and only single from 1982 in May 2020, interest in the band has resulted in the release of these tracks for the first time, on this US label; 'Reminder'. This is selling well in the US and Japan... as well as the Isle of Wight and has apparently sold out in 2 of those territories!! The 3 former members, vocalist; Debbie Barker (Coles), bassist; ''Electric'' Eric Biggs and drummer Hugh Kim Lewis are surprised and happy! (With Thanks to HKL for detailed info of bands biog). No record company info appears on the sleeve or label. The Download of this LP was released on Christmas Eve 2020.

Isle of Wight Band, consisting of brothers Jamie and Douglas Richards, Tom Farren, Chris Newnham and Chris Jones who play a variety of instruments, though guitar, piano, bass and drums play a main part. All tracks mixed by Jamie Richards and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road. Sunday Best record label was set up by DJ Rob Da Bank.

Problem Child 13th Feb 2020		Vinyl Album The Electric Prunes - I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night (1978)	Just to add some more details as my copy, which I bought around the mid 80's, is a little different. The 'LC 0332', next to the Reprise logo has been reduced in size and moved to just above the '33' symbol at the bottom of the label and replaces the '30,649' which has disappeared. The GEMA logo box has now has Biem added. In the run-off groove the matrix reads on Side 1 as:- R/S Alsdorf 24033 A X RME Side 2;- R/S Alsdorf 24033 B2 D Mine has just a plain white inner sleeve. There was an 'Import' sticker on the sleeve. Looks like it's from an 'Our Price' record shop?! The sleeve is the same as featured here, though it may be worth pointing out that there is an embossed 'W' slightly left and below the 'LC 0322' on the rear bottom corner.

I never had the sleeve with this record, hence its non-appearance. So far... am I really the only person who owns this?! (See US version for sleeve, I think it was near enough the same)

Just a mention about the release date here, the 28th was a Friday, the 1st June a Tuesday! Pretty sure I bought it on day of release, which is why I wrote the 28th on it, to ensure I got the picture disc version.(can't find my 1982 diary...)
Problem Child 15th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album The Rolling Stones - Still Life (American Concert 1981) (1982)	Just noticed that there is no mention of the Picture Disc version of this. Maybe it needs its own entry? It has the same cat. number but with a 'P' after 'CUN'. The run-off groove also has 'ORLAKE' etched into it. Can someone please advise if I need to make a separate entry for this, which I think it does. I'll also try to take a picture of it. I also have a release date, written at the time of 28th May on my sleeve, which is probably when I bought it - I'll have to check my diary! btw, it reached No. 4 in the LP charts.
