TopPopper 22nd May 2020		Vinyl Album The Beatles - The Essential Beatles (1972)	Rock N Roll Music was a double LP, but when re-issued as two singles, LP 1 included, "I Wanna Be Your Man", "Boys" and "Matchbox".

TopPopper 17th May 2020		Vinyl Album John Lennon - Rock 'N' Roll (1978)	The front cover photo isn't just John - Paul, Stu and George are the guys walking past - and on the back of this and other editions, there's mention of McCartney Music (copyright owner of "Peggy Sue"). Thus, Paul has his photo and name on this album sleeve.

TopPopper 21st Feb 2020		Vinyl Album Bob Dylan - Planet Waves (1974)	Review A contender for Dylan's most under-rated album. Generally speaking, not a bad track on the LP, except the fast version of Forever Young is probably expendable. Also, great reunion of Dylan and the Band after several years of the partnership being in stasis. Possibly the album has failed to be regarded as one of Dylan's greats due to being followed up by Blood On The Tracks then Desire, which have captured most of the plaudits. 6 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?

TopPopper 20th Oct 2019		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Please Please Me (1963)	Mis-pressings like that do occur from time to time. What you have is probably worth something - collectors take increasing interest in mis-pressed records, and the Beatles are the most collactable of the lot.

TopPopper 20th Oct 2019		Vinyl Album Johnny Cash - I Walk The Line (1971)	Agreed the date was wrong, but changed to 1973, not 1971. Many of these Hallmark LPs were released some years after recording, so the dates on the packaging are not always good to refer to. A good method to date them is to check the cat numbers against the Top of the Pops releases on the label between 1968 and 1982. These are all listed correctly on the site, so in this case, for example, SHM 849 will have been released alongside the Top of the Pops LPs, SHM 845 and SHM 850. Ergo, 1973.
TopPopper 19th Oct 2019		Vinyl Album [no artist listed] - Top Of The Pops: Vol. 86 (1981)	Indeed, "Top of the Poppers" was a name the label sometimes used, but it's more of a marketing thing than an actual credit for an actual artist. These recordings were made by an outside firm called Coombe Music and to all intents and purposes, the recording act was left anonymous.

TopPopper 28th Aug 2019		Vinyl Album Jimi Hendrix - Crash Landing (1975)	Sapper - or someone with a copy - can you clarify whether the sleeve goes with this edition? The cat number on the back of the sleeve does not match the labels.
TopPopper 26th Jul 2019		Vinyl Album [no artist listed] - Top Of The Pops (1973)	Have deleted the image, which was the UK sleeve. The correct sleeve for this album has the Diskos logo, and the UK catalogue number is removed. I've also changed the artist to [no artist listed] - the credit 'Top of the Poppers' does not appear on this product.
TopPopper 26th May 2019		Vinyl Album Sergio Mendes And Brasil '66 - Fool On The Hill (1968)	I just heard that a US record store back in the 1960s refused to stock this album, as they claim it's in "bad taste graphically" in respect of the inside images. Does anyone know what the problem was?
