| | I went up my loft earlier today to have a look at my copy which is the UK version as I was puzzled by the scans. In mine the Gatefold has a 4 page booklet attached to the Gatefold itself and the Book is a separate item. the 4 scans in the fixed booklet are 1. Scan with circular bus, 2 b/w scan of crowd on the bus, 3 coloured picture of Beatles in white coats and 4 b/w scan of large crowd. |

| | Well spotted Lee, Baby You're A Rich Man is definitely a Lennon & McCartney composition.
The original 1967 US Capitol release has the correct composers credit, as does the 1976 UK Parlophone version.
In the early 70's the Apple label was used for USA reissues of the album but it's good to see the iconic Capitol 1960's label being reinstated for this release. |

| | Baby You're A Rich Man is by George Harrison according to the label and the same mistake was made on the USA issue of this release. I know, I know I promised to upload it ages ago but the booklet is so dense I can't get my head around it. I've read it three times now and I've still no idea what it's about and I've seen the movie too! |

| | I have the USA edition of this release cat# 094638246510 which is one zero away from this EU cat# of 0094638246510. There are other subtle differences too, the booklet is separate from the gatefold, here it appears to part of the gatefold pages like Jethro Tull's "Living In The Past" and of course the label is slightly different. The booklet images on the US version are not as crisp as these here and look more like blown up (kapow!) facsimiles from the double 45 EP release I'll have to get the scanner back in training before I attempt this behemoth though. I was kind of hoping this one would have been already listed. |
