An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Electric Light Orchestra - First Movement | Back cover and full front cover images added.
An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - Encore ELO | Its surely just the best bits that Warner Bros had originally released.
Surely they wouldn;t have been able to put anything else on that later appeared on UA or Jet?
An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Yellow Submarine | Okay then cheers.
An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Please Please Me | Added sleeve, sadly its been mistreated and is in rather yellow condition (maybe that's why i managed to get it so cheap!!)
Hard to see under all the discolouration but the bottom right of the front cover say Photo:Angus McBean
An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - With The Beatles | images of these cover came out a bit blurry have to redo the front cover later.
HAve include a close up of the EMI Brigadiers credit at the bottom of the cover as this cannot be read on the full size.
This is the only SA Beatles LP i have without the old sstyle 'Flip-back' folds on the sleeve
An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Yellow Submarine | The sleeve and label disagree about the tracks. Sleeve does has the uk tracks fro B2 and B3
however the label is B2i and ii thus putting the whole track listing out of sync.
When i added this i went by the sleeve and have only recently discovered the label has a dif. track numbering.
Should it stay the same as it is or shall it be corrected so that it reflects the label over the sleeve?
An6y66 29th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Let It Be | apologies for the wonkey back cover image, hopefully you can still see the interesting bits :Flip backs and parlophone logo.
Also the front cover looks only partly shiny as the laminate covering is peeling.
An6y66 28th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] | Well I'm not saying how true it is I think the books a few years old now. So if people think that it's wrong then don't change the release date.
An6y66 27th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Hey Jude! | This copy has mistitled Paperback Writer
An6y66 27th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Electric Light Orchestra - E.L.O. 2 | Also malcy your copy has momma as the title on the label whilst mine is mama.

An6y66 26th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] | Christopher Man beatles worldwide discography dates this as Jan 1969. not Nov 1968.
An6y66 26th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - A Hard Days Night | I won't steal the scans off someone else but if you wish to see some nicaraguan apple labels go on this site

An6y66 23rd Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - Out Of The Blue | added variant labels with much smaller font on side 4. The labels also have a matte finish not the glossy labels like the others. Can only upload disc two because the disc one that is paired with it is the same as the one already uploaded. Obviously got switch about in a record shop a while back.
An6y66 23rd Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - Out Of The Blue | added black vinyl copy with variant label.
Also sleeve made by CBS this has a much larger Jet logo than the UA sleeves.
My copy of this on blue vinyl has the jetdp labels as above but is in a UA sleeve. Is it possible that CBS records were sold in UA sleeves or has this just been mixed up in a record shop at some point?
An6y66 23rd Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumELO - Secret Messages | Am I right in saying (or did i just dream this?) that the US release of this never had the 'Contains secret backwards messages' on the back cover because they were worried Americans wouldn't get the joke?
An6y66 23rd Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumMarillion - B'Sides Themselves | The front cover is made up from the artwork of different single covers, which have their b-sides featured on the LP.
The main face is from assassing, his lips are from he knows, you know. He has a Tux-On (b-side to sugar mice). The images in the 'shards' around his face are from the artwork featured on the sleeves of Market square heroes, kayleigh and incommunicado.
Also note that the versions of Market square heroes and Three boats are not the original single versions but the re-recorded mixes found on the b side to punch and judy.
An6y66 23rd Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumMarillion - The Thieving Magpie (La Gazza Ladra) | Added scan of merch sheet. Its not just the scan that's hard to read the colour scheme of blurry red on grey doesn't work very well
An6y66 23rd Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - Discovery | added the other side of the merch sheet with fan club offer.
Also i have a sleeve with limited edition poster stuck on. Was the poster just limited to the first pressing then?

An6y66 21st Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Move - Move | The artwork for the sleeve was designed by 'The Fool' the same people the Beatles used for the psychedelic inner sleeve that came with the first pressings of sgt pepper lp
An6y66 21st Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Move - The Move | apologies for the grainy images i'll try and re-upload some better ones at some point
An6y66 20th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - Balance Of Power | It seems alot of the later Lps and singles were imported from holland. All the record shops i go to never seem to have uk pressings of them anyway.
An6y66 18th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Electric Light Orchestra - No Answer | Called No Answer in America supposedly because when the man in charge of the USA release asked his secretary if she'd rung england and found out what the title should be she replied 'No Answer '.
An6y66 18th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Electric Light Orchestra - The Electric Light Orchestra | On my copy of this the inner sleeve has an old newspaper cutout. Thought i scan it in before it completely disintegrates. mods feel free to hide it.
oh and also note the fact Bev Bevan has been called Roy Bevan here.
An6y66 18th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Love Songs | You could put the BTA 1141/42 in the notes so they shows in a search ?
An6y66 18th Oct 2013 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Love Songs | I think the way the cat no is shown now is the best way.
