GimmeVinyl 15th Jan 2020		Vinyl Album Bobby Rydell - Chubby Checker	If anything, the track Your Hits And Mine was worth purchasing this LP. Sure, there's other tunes on here that are worth a listen, but Chubby did a pretty good job singing Bobby's tunes.

GimmeVinyl 10th Jan 2020		Vinyl Album The Moody Blues - Days Of Future Passed	I just picked up a copy of this.. jacket isn't too shabby.. vinyl in gorgeous shape! The label is the first set.. without writer credits. An original pressing?? Not bad for $7!!! Playing Tuesday Afternoon...omg, this sounds awesome! No clicks, no pops.. wow....this LP will be 52 years old?
GimmeVinyl 10th Jan 2020		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Help!	Ok.. take a look at my pics.. mine states MADE IN EU.. there was a little sticker proclaiming Made In Germany.. is my copy the UK release? This one does have me scratching my head.. because the jacket states Digital remaster copyright 2009.. also copyright 2012 EMI Records Ltd.. not Capitol Records. Also, there's no listing for this particular issue under the UK Parlophone listings...and it's not the 2017 DeAgnostini release. Does my copy warrant a new listing?

GimmeVinyl 10th Jan 2020		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Help!	Just bought this today..she's on the turntable as I write this. Pics of the new label as soon as the B side is over! I broke down and bought this because I missed out on a very clean UK Help in mono...grrr .. and yes, it was an original '65 pressing.. and not a 66-69 repress. You can tell by the song list font.

One, on the Apple label, was super clean, and priced at $22.99. the other, was still factory sealed in the cellophane. The jackets of the two LPs were identical.. but.. how can you tell if it's an Apple release, or an orange Capitol, or a earlier green Capitol, or a later purple Capitol? Personally, I'm not going to plunk down $29.99 for an orange label Capitol..

GimmeVinyl 6th Jan 2020		Vinyl Album Various Artists - WKNR Oldies But Goodies	This is the first of at least 4 of oldies but goodies LPs that AM 1310 WKNR Detroit put out in the mid to late 60s. A little checking may be in order, but these LPs may have been packaged and pressed by Original Sound record label. The font and the song layout on the bottom of the back side of the jacket is highly reminiscent of their oldies but goodies series of LPs.

I find it just a little hard for me to pull the trigger on this one, at $29.95.. even though I'd prefer this over the US Capitol pressing in Stereo. What year did Parlophone phase out this mono release?

Includes the utes, Charger, the inline Hemi six, and the Chrysler by Chrysler (CH series). Includes an extensive racing history.

Copies are going for $56 for ones in good condition, but have notes and highlighted pages. VG copies start at $85, and go as high as $250 near mint.
GimmeVinyl 1st Jan 2020		78 RPM Bobby Wayne - Let Me In / Wild Card	Sonically, this record sounds better than anything I've heard on 78 up to the mid 50's. Although it doesn't state so on the record, it's definitely a full-frequency range recording! I added this to the London US listing, as I previously thought that my copy was from the UK.
