Louis And The Hot Five - Don't Forget To Mess Around / I'm Gonna Gitch
Still guessing, Louis and the hot five- Louis Armstrong and the hot five is a bit like Diana Ross and the Supremes - The Supremes, both Louis and Diana were part of the original group then later got to be the front name ( Louis and the hot five was only a five member group including Louis same as the Supremes ).

Added the other side.

I have no idea other than they could be test tracks, a member with better knowledge will no doubt have the answer.

On the other side video it does say Exclusive Okeh record artists
Good luck.

Paul Anka - You Are My Destiny / When I Stop Loving You (That'll Be The Day) (1958)
Can’t take the credit for the edits, Leonard did that bit, I just did the scans, as long as you have the label square in the scanner it should not be to much to edit the scans, again credit to Leonard.

Gilbert Bécaud - Donne-Moi / Mes Mains (1954)
Louis, I can take it on the chin.

I take your point on comparisons with other countries and labels, I will not do that in future.

Ref your scans, if you could leave a little more room around the label, it would help when cropping, I did not realise you did not have access to paintnet, I’m happy to crop your images and not touch the colour and tone buttons.

The coloured image was an attempt to match the eBay photo as a comparison, it was not Art for Art sake and will be removed.

One thing I learnt from my business, is not to rely on what your computer screens show, I have had many a customer email a colour swatch to match up to, only to find out it is not the same shade as my customer has showing on their screen, so I make a point of getting them to match from a shade chart and quote the colour reference number, point being, what my screen shows of a labels colour may not be the same as what others see.

The two images (4542/3) that you have approved, are your originals that I re-edited back from the edited ones I did, if that makes sense, but do not have you credited with these as I had to add them to the site from paint net, now do you want me to remove my first edits with your credits leaving the 4542/3 images but without your credits? it’s up to you.

Gilbert Bécaud - Donne-Moi / Mes Mains (1954)
@LouisSidney, your input is much appreciated,

but any image entered that has not been cropped or for other reasons will be put in the “Need Editing” file and its then up to the mods to edit the image to what they think is best, in your case (not having the information you have) I thought the label looked to light and so I darkened and adjust contrast to what I thought was best, in view of the amount of images in the “Need Editing” file it not practical to PM every edit.

Regarding cropping images, it is not always possible to crop some images as they have been scanned to the outer text, rather than the edge of the label (see some of your earlier scans) we the mods have to make the best of what is entered, however, paintnet cropping is easy to pick up, and by doing all the editing yourself it will then by past the “Need Editing”.

Although this may sound like I’m having a go at you, it’s not, its just my blunt way of answering questions, so don’t take it personally.

@Juke Jules, if I click on my edited label, it still shows the original image before it was edited, have pressed the F5 key and also the refresh button and still shows the original label.
