Hadda Brooks - Polonaise / Polonaise Boogie (1946)
Fred - I was trying to clarify on your use of the word 're-issue', and why both labels should probably be given the same release date. Things do take time to get corrected and I hope that the newer comments (from two other mods) have made things clearer.

Hadda Brooks - Polonaise / Polonaise Boogie (1946)
Fred - If it was still in the Modern catalogue at the time that the Modern changed its name to Modern Records, then it isn't a reissue, just a continuation of supply. If you look at Regal Zonophone (established 1933) for example, you'll see items going back as far as 1914 that remained in the catalogues of the founding labels until the label was established.

Harry Lauder - That's The Reason Noo I Wear A Kilt (1908)
Your 12" version is probably 02142 released Aug 1908 (unless he re-recorded it later). Why not add it?

Alhambra Theatre Orchestra - "The Bing Girls Are There" (1917)
The software gives:
C773 to C778 was released in May 1917.
C786 to C791 was released in Jly 1917.
so it's good enough to enter a date of 1917 as Fokeman has done here, although it's probably June.

Sir Harry Lauder - I Like My Old Home Town / I'm The Boss Of The Hoose (1926)
Issued 1926 is a good guess, based on the fact that the Kelly Database gives both sides as recorded 26 October 1925. I've updated this.

Alfred Stacey - The Miner's Dream Of Home / Old Jim's Christmas Hymn (1911)
From Mike Thomas' Site re Beka label:
... a British factory was built for manufacturing Lindström-owned records, all of which had previously been manufactured in Germany. It was called The Mead Works, and was in Gas House Lane, Hertford and it opened in December 1912. By the time it was fully operational in March 1913, they report making 50,000 records a day (oh, yeah?). These would include not only Lindström's Beka, Coliseum & Scala records, but also Fonotipia's Jumbo and Odeon records, as Lindström had taken over the Fonotipia concern by this time. Despite the new factory in England, many Lindström-owned records were still made in Germany, where employment costs were lower.

City Of Glasgow Police Pipe Band - Selection Of Strathspeys And Reels / Eightsome Reel (1946)
The tax code is correct as this was released Jan 1946 (not 1950 as submitted), after Scottish material recording was suspended for most of WW2.

New Mayfair Dance Orchestra - Paul Jones (1946)
The 'Paul Jones' is a dance, rather than a fixed set of melodies. The Michael Smith & Frank Andrews 'C series' book {link} confirms that both these discs exist. Your disc (C.3415) was released in December 1944.

Trumpeter Anderson - British Army Cavalry Camp Calls Part 2 / British Army Cavalry Camp Calls Part 3 (1914)
The date of this release (15 Sep 1914) is accurate. At the start of WW1 Edison Bell and other UK record companies hurriedly compiled new 'Patriotic Lists'. The first Winner list was issued 15 Sept (2703-2709) with another following on the 15 Oct (2710-2719). Normal monthly issues (but with much more patriotic content) continued from November. Since these records remained in the Winner catalogue for many years, 'reissued' is not a correct description. Trumpeter Anderson's first name was Peter.

Another duplicated Parlophone Catalogue Number! This one was released Jan/Feb 1928 (not 1951). As before, the clue is the horn gramophone behind the £ symbol. See also {here}.

Mike - Where is that date from? I have R 214 to R 234 as Dec 1928. The first Rhythm Style issue (R 448) was released Nov 1929 and my dating notes say July-Dec 1935 as R2084-2139.

Mr. Robert Radford - Glorious Devon (1907)
Quote 'So can Greg's label represent a 1915 record'. Not too sure what you are asking here. Greg's record is a 1915~ issued re-recording of 3-2894 (first issued Oct 1907), which I thought I'd made clear in the final sentence of my first response. CHARM is now up again but doesn't have an entry for the original recording of 3-2894, but confirms the HMV documented catalogue number of 3-2894X for Greg's disc. Adding a letter (or more) suffix to the catalogue number was common GramCo practice in the 'Berliner' days (X was first re-recording) but I've never seen any info on how long this practice might have lasted in-house, and I've never seen any such suffix on a post-Berliner GramCo disc label.

Mr. Robert Radford - Glorious Devon (1907)
And 3-2894 was later released on HMV as one side of E-75 in 1920. The same coupling was later released as E420 in1926 with Bb matrix prefixes (probably electrical recordings), so obviously popular songs.

Mr. Robert Radford - Glorious Devon (1907)
I could probably give a better answer, but the CHARM site is down, so I've had to use book sources. Radford's original 'Glorious Devon' recordings are: 3-2497 issued Dec. 1906 (Ashley's disc) and 3-2894 issued October 1907. The two close issues suggest that the recordings were very different in character. GramCo pressing were made in Germany until the Hayes UK Head Office was ready (building started in 1907). HO matrix prefix recordings started experimentally in October 1908, and HO-1470 would have made in 1915, and is therefore a re-recording of the original 3-2894.

Phil. Ohman Und Victor Arden - The Blue Room (Das Blaue Zimmer) / The Girlfriend (Meine kleine Freundin) (1926)
I'll go with MrShellac - the 'Bestell-Nr.' = 'Order Number' is a hangover from when records with two sides with different numbers were sold.

Alfred Stacey - The Miner's Dream Of Home / Old Jim's Christmas Hymn (1911)
From around 1907 until the 1914 War start, the UK market was flooded by cheap German made imports. These tended to cost around half the price of the normal UK produced records. So the big companies like HMV (with The Twin) and Columbia (with Cinch) actually started their own labels at similarly low prices, but without declaring they were involved.

Nellie Melba - Aubade (1906)
Melba was one of the few 'super stars' of the day, and HMV charged top prices for her recordings. A 'red label' 10" (major names) would cost 10/- (50p) in contrast to 5/-(25p) for a normal 10". By 1912 a Caruso 12" could cost you 25/- (£1.25)!

[no artist listed] - The Blue Jay And The Thrush / Hear The Robin (1908)
It appears to be Bell Disc 25 - by Joe Belmont (whistler) vocal, Mr. Lyster (bells) and Orchestra, released July 1908. The matrix 2121 is the Robin side, with 2120 for the other. I've moved it to Edison Bell Bell Disc subject to more confirmation from the submitter. The B side title may be 'Hear the robin'
