| | In my opinion, the sleeve with the SA-Troopers and the marching-band is in any case genuine, authentic. There are two versions one for 10-inch records and one for 12-inch-records, for those Telefunken records.
Another question: Is the matrix number for that white-label record machine-stamped or handwritten?
If it is machine-stamped, it is a genuine test pressing. Again, I have never seen such a label as a regular label style, so I came to my conclusion, again, that this record is a white-label test record and one of the previous owners had an artistic profession, to paint the inscriptions and the used design on the white labels. Really well done. |

| | This & others like this, I was informed by a German 78s record dealer Ronald S, who I purchased from some 25 years ago, were all from a radio station and certainly not bootlegs, shellac records with the label writing by using stencils. My only interest in them was they are WW2-related on the German side. I already have many WW2 78s English output & thought these are a good addition for an historical collective interest of WW2 original records. |

| | Definitely a strange one. Any possibility it could be a bootleg? Here is a stamped white label Telefunken from 1936, not sure if there are any others on the site |

| | Re the B-side: for those who don't know it anyway see Wikipedia:
The "Horst-Wessel-Lied" ("Horst Wessel Song"), also known by its opening words "Die Fahne hoch" ("Raise the Flag", lit. 'The Flag High'), was the anthem of the Nazi Party (NSDAP) from 1930 to 1945. From 1933 to 1945, the Nazis made it the co-national anthem of Germany, along with the first stanza of the "Deutschlandlied".
The "Horst-Wessel-Lied" has been banned in Germany and Austria since the end of World War II. |

| | Whoever the owner was (someone with the initials L. W.), he had a lot of time on his hands and probably also copies of the regular issues, or he couldn't have copied the labels so well. |

| | Wow, interesting label and issue. Possibly a white-label test record with a very exact handwritten label, maybe by first owner of record.?? |

| | This is a combination of two popular titles on white labels that were regularly released on separate records. Makes sense that this would maybe belong to a radio station.
The B side was issued as Telefunken A 1364. |
