TheJudge 18th Dec 2016		CD Album The Orb - Cow / Chill Out, World! (2016)	I've listened to it twice now, once on ordinary speakers and once with cans, and I have to say that it's a good, solid album - perhaps their most cohesive purely ambient outing for over twenty years. There's very litle which could be dismissed as 'noodling' on it.

At the top of the inner (image# 1171592) it says that it's all composed by Paterson and Fehlmann, but further down it gives Paterson, Fehlmann, Roger Eno and Martin Glover (aka Youth). There's nothing to indicate which tracks fall under the one set rather than the other.

TheJudge 19th Sep 2015		CD Album The Offspring - Americana (1998)	Cat# corrected. For the record, Redpunk's action was to do with a composer credit which needed correcting. More generally, corrections will stand a far greater chance of being dealt with if they're submitted via the "Make Correction" link at the bottom of the page. If they're just put in comments, they're easily missed.

When I e-mailed them to chase it up, they said they were waiting for more stock. I think the problem may have been that there would have likely been a number of small pressing runs so that the label didn't end up with unsold stock, and that would have held things up.

TheJudge 27th Jul 2015		CD Album Clannad - Crann Ull (1988)	"Brennan" comes from the Irish "Ó Braonáin" ("son of Braonáin"), so Leon Ó Braonáin would go into English as "Leon Brennan". The traditional name-pattern for someone's wife would be "[x] Bean Uí [y]", so it should be "Máire Bean Uí Bhraonáin" ("Máire, wife of the son of Braonáin"). I'm not sure whether it's a cock-up to name her - as here - as "Máire Bean Ní Bhraonáin" looks to me like "Máire, wife of the daughter of Braonáin", which seems a bit odd even for Dun na nGall.
