Vinyl Album
Bill Haley And His Comets - Rock Around The Clock (1961)
I think this one should have 1961 as year of release, it must have been a good seller and on catalogue a long time as I see it very often at boot fairs. Apparently there are 2 variations on the sleeves as well.

Vinyl Album
Tommy Steele And The Steelmen - Tommy Steele Stage Show (1981)
Yes it [*] is a legit UK Decca reissue from 1981. Decca reissued a lot of Tommy Steele stuff around this time, in reproductions of the original sleeves. You can see a discography of his records on his fansite here

Vinyl Album
Prince Buster - She Was A Rough Rider (1969)
its somewhere around 1989/90 I think, as there was a resurgence in early ska about then.

Prince Buster - She Was A Rough Rider (1969)
Mods- could you change the record label to "Prince Buster" ? This Westmoor distributed item is using the original Prince Buster label design. [Lots of examples on 45cat.]

Snig: Prince Buster is both the artist & label in this case.

Vinyl Album
Status Quo - From The Makers Of.... (1982)
I've just got my Metal box out and found the CAT is PRO BX 1 not PRO LP 1
- Im wondering if Snig could confirm if he has the metal round box or the square card box?

Sorted see my next entry. https://www.45worlds.com/vinyl/album/probx1

If this is the original first edition it should be a numbered tin box.

Vinyl Album
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold As Love (1967)
there was a polydor reissue in a single sleeve with the image the "right way" up - maybe folks can look at that when it arrives!?

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold As Love (1967)
I would like to point out before anybody rotates it that the front cover image is the right way round! Spine at left- opens on right.

Booker T. And The MG's - Soul Dressing (1965)
I have owned the 'normal' release - not sure if I still have it. I didnt enter the correct number of tracks because I havent got this album to hand at mo, [like every other record I own - in a heap sans organisation!]

Various Artists - Easy Rider (1969)
as a matter of fact, Stateside was an international label - covering at least 32 countries. This Easy Rider soundtrack does appear in the UK but on Stateside //Dunhill SSL 5018 - I have a copy somewhere.

Vinyl Album
Jimi Hendrix - Band Of Gypsys (1970)

Vinyl Album
Various Artists - A Jazz Salute To Freedom
probably is a typo because Nat is Cannonball's brother or something like that!

Vinyl Album
Ozzy Osbourne - Ozzmium (1981)
Curious use of Randy Rhoads rather than Ozzy himself as the "cover star" on this record!

Vinyl Album
The Who - The Who Sell Out (1967)
Audiodiscs have an extra hole, personally I think in the 50's the americans probably did supply acetate blanks but EMI would have started making their own pretty quickly to save money.
A fantastic Who related item by the way Getalife.

Vinyl Album
Marillion - In Concert (1988)
If this a geniune BBC transcription disc of the 1980's the label will be green and yellow on a white background, made in uk.

Lots of bootlegs were run of these discs I used to have a U2 one with the right design but no colour.
