Folker 1st Jun 2022		Vinyl Album Dominic Behan And Ewan MacColl - Streets Of Song (1959)	Out of curiosity, why is this listed separately from this 12T41 ? The other listing has three different covers, all different to the above. I know each listing has a "See Also" link to the other, but that seems a bit of a cop out. Either the four variants should all be on the same listing or each variant should have its own separate listing. My personal vote would be for the former, since the latter is too much like the dickogs "hunt the variant" game, which wastes so much time. No doubt others have their own views. (after extensive discussion this has now been merged with the other variations, mod.)

Folker 18th Apr 2021		Vinyl Album Finton Lalor Pipe Band - Pipes Of The Gael	Does anyone know when this LP might have been released? My guess is 1950s. Anything about the label would also be of interest. The sleeve says "Recorded in Ireland", but it was released by "TMS Records" of New York. I can't find anything about this label, yet the catalogue number suggests it wasn't their first or only release.

It would seem the band members took the credit for writing "I Know Where I'm Going", "Rock Island Line", "East Virginia" and "Drill, Ye Tarriers, Drill". Wow. In that case, I wrote Macbeth.

Folker 16th Mar 2019		Vinyl Album Pete Townshend - Empty Glass (1980)	I've just bought a copy of this with a Spanish sleeve, but with a UK inner and UK vinyl. The catalogue numbers are different (Spanish sleeve says S 90.231). Has anyone else come across this combination? Or is this just a "marriage"?
Folker 10th Nov 2018		Vinyl Album The Great Barr Folk Choir And The Stringalongs - Folk	Just added this one. Associated with two EPs by the same choir, GBCS 3/4 and GBCS 5/6. The rear of the sleeve is essentially blank, so there is no clue about where it was pressed. The catalogue numbers come from the runoff grooves, where they are prefixed by HNK. Does anybody have any idea which (UK) pressing plant that might have been? Currently, the label is simply attributed to "Great Barr Comprehensive School", for the sake of consistency with the two EPs referenced above.
Folker 10th Aug 2018		Vinyl Album The Alarm - The Alarm (1983)	This is also listed on 45worlds 12-inch Singles, here. Technicaly, one of the listings is therefore a duplicate. I've always considered this a 12" single rather than an LP, but it could be argued either way. That then also begs the question about the correct home for the equivalent release on Illegal, which is currently listed on Vinyl Albums here, but not on 12-inch Singles.

I've submitted a correction in the hope that the mods might sort this out. Ditto for Nics two previous LPs, on Trailer.

Folker 28th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced (1967)	Mine is laminated front-only too. It was originally my mother's and she bought it in 1967. I've never seen a UK copy laminated f&b. I've long been convinced that "laminated front and back" is yet another in the lamentably long list of errors in the RRPG. I once spotted exactly the same record in three different places in the same edition, all with significantly different valuations. The RRPG makes a good door-stop, but I wouldn't rely on it for much else.
Folker 7th Oct 2014		Vinyl Album Martin Carthy And Dave Swarbrick - Prince Heathen (1969)	I have this on the blue Fontana label, but suspect that it was originally released on the black equivalent. Can anyone confirm this? More generally, does anyone know when Fontana switched their LP label colour from black to blue? It must be no earlier than 1970.

Folker 16th Jul 2014		Vinyl Album Leon Rosselson With Martin Carthy And Roy Bailey - The Word Is Hugga Mugga Chugga Lugga Humbugga Boom Chit (1971)	I've added scans for the yellow version of the original Trailer labels. The company details on the rear of the accompanying sleeve are different to those shown, so I've added a scan of the relevant part of the sleeve. Oddly, the "5 North Villas" address is consistent with the earliest Trailer releases (late 60s/early 70s) whereas the scan I've added dates my copy to about 1977/78. The sleeve stock must have got used up in a pretty odd order, for such an early sleeve to end up on an 80s reissue.
Folker 9th Jun 2014		Vinyl Album Joan Armatrading - Back To The Night	The catalogue number of the original UK issue is AMLH 68305. Original versions have a sleeve which is laminated both front and back. They also have a pink die-cut lyric inner sleeve.
Folker 17th Jan 2014		Vinyl Album Ashley Hutchings, Richard Thompson, Dave Mattacks, John Kirkpatrick, Barry Dransfield - Morris On (1972)	There is a second variant of the sleeve for this particular release, showing "basing street london wII" immediately below "island records ltd" at the bottom rear of the sleeve. Otherwise the sleeve is identical (same printers, catalogue number, etc) and comes with the same vinyl/label. Does anyone know which sleeve would be the first issue?
