vidman45 20th Apr 2015		Vinyl Album Chuck Berry - One Dozen Berrys (1978)	Thanks to 55bluesman for adding the correct labels. A moderator may move my label images (#725494 and 725495) to the US entry https://www.45worlds.com/vinyl/album/lps1432 where there is only an editable uncropped side 1 image. I do not recall where I bought this album, but it was likely at a used record shop, and a previous owner may have switched the disc.
vidman45 20th Apr 2015		Vinyl Album Chuck Berry - One Dozen Berrys (1978)	I have added the French front and back covers. There is a Phonogram logo on the back cover, and in very tiny print in the bottom-right corner it says "Imp.C.I.D.I.S. Louviers - Made and printed in France". The record label inside this sleeve looks questionable, like a US issue with credit to GRT Record Group, Catalog # LPS-1432, and "Electronic Stereo". I bought this LP in the U.S.A. If this is not the correct record, feel free to remove or replace it.

vidman45 18th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album Brian Hyland - The Legendary Years Of Rock And Roll (1978)	Neil, my guess on the year of release included the sticker on the back cover from Chandlers Better Record Bars. Might this have been in Sydney? My only trip down under to Oz was in late 1979.

vidman45 16th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album The Kingston Trio - The Folk Era (1964)	Besides adding this 3-LP set, I also spent some time adding correct release (month/year) dates so that the albums in the Kingston Trio USA database would sort in proper release order. I also added four LP's that I do not own. I do not have scans for them. If you have any of these, please add them.
vidman45 12th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album Dick Orkin, Jane Roberts And Jim Runyon - The Best Of Chickenman (1967)	I remember "Chickenman" on the radio. I have never seen this album. I used to have a similar one that was on Roulette. I bought copies of it for my two teenage cousins for being ushers at my wedding.

vidman45 12th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Herb Alpert präsentiert die grosse A & M Starparade (1970)	I have added front and back cover and label images to 55bluesman's item. I would have added this LP myself, but I was not sure what country it was from. This promo album contains a gatefold cover with 8 full color cardboard pages with biographies on all of the acts. I found those too difficult to scan and stitch.

vidman45 8th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Original Motion Picture Hit Themes (1962)	After adding Warner Bros. LP's all week, I decided to add some U.A. for a change to help out Trainman with his UA V-A List. I bought this LP hoping to find "Town Without Pity" in stereo. (It isn't!) United Artists did not put the year of release on their records, and their discography is a mess due to all of their catalog # prefixes. The date on this one may be incorrect.

vidman45 6th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album John Raitt With "The Kids" - Songs The Kids Brought Home From Camp (1960)	Added this 1960 LP by John Raitt, stage and film star, and father of Bonnie Raitt. This is an album of camp songs. Does anyone know if Bonnie Raitt was one of the "Kids" who sang on this album? She would have been 10 or 11 years old at the time. I checked on Wikipedia, and found nothing.
vidman45 3rd Feb 2015		Vinyl Album Neil Diamond - The Feel Of Neil Diamond (1966)	This was Diamond's first LP, first charted in Oct. 1966. When he switched to UNI/ MCA in 1968, Bang continued releasing, and re-releasing 45's and LP's to compete with his current recordings into the 1970's. This was a similar situation to what Rick Nelson faced when he changed labels to Decca. Imperial flooded the market with older catalog material on 45's and albums to confuse the record buyers.
vidman45 29th Jan 2015		Vinyl Album Various Artists - The Best Of '66, Volume 2 (1966)	There was a Volume 1 companion release that was more youth oriented. I bought both volumes because they only cost $1.00 each, and I liked the Eydie Gorme song. Columbia put out 2 more samplers like this in 1967. I had to dispose of all of them when we moved.
vidman45 25th Jan 2015		Vinyl Album The 4 Seasons - Edizione D'oro (Gold Edition) (1968)	Added partial scans, although this gold gatefold cover was not built to last. Hopefully, someone has a better preserved copy and can get better scans. This double LP is sought by collectors because it has some stereo tracks that are not available elsewhere. The master tapes were lost before it could be mastered to CD. Ace tried, but quickly withdrew its CD release.
vidman45 21st Jan 2015		Vinyl Album Sha Na Na - Rock & Roll Is Here To Stay! (1973)	I added this 1973 re-issue of their 1969 album. I thought perhaps it was reissued because of their TV show, but I checked and the TV show did not begin until 1977. This LP was in the cut-out bins by that time. My copy has cutout clips in the top right corner of the cover.

vidman45 17th Jan 2015		Vinyl Album Jan And Dean With The Soul Surfers - Jan And Dean With The Soul Surfers (1963)	The only 4 Jan & Dean songs here are Tracks A1, A2, B1, and B2. These are Challenge records released on 45's in 1961. The Soul Surfers must be a generic studio group. The same four Jan & Dean songs also appeared on another budget LP titled "The Heart & Soul of Jan & Dean and Friends", on Design DLP-181 and Stereo Spectrum SDLP-181 (fake stereo). That LP had 12 tracks by "Friends". The filler tracks have different titles than this L-J album. I own the Design LP, but did not think it was worth adding.

I think I only played it one time (in 35 years), and stopped buying Beatles records totally after this. (no CD's)
