Added scan of my Bell Sound edition which has a rear cover white paste-over, not totally sure what's underneath, whether blank or, perhaps another front-cover? (not risking a Butcheresque peel) but there is an upside down "Mono" that doesn't seem to fit with other copies.
I just picked up a copy of this.. jacket isn't too shabby.. vinyl in gorgeous shape! The label is the first set.. without writer credits. An original pressing?? Not bad for $7!!! Playing Tuesday Afternoon...omg, this sounds awesome! No clicks, no pops.. wow....this LP will be 52 years old?
I have added a second label set from H. V. Waddell for our label guru W.B.lbl to review and determine if this is the older style "deep groove" label he wrote of in July 2016. If not and this is a duplication, please delete.
{Image #498970} looks like the top left was a re-creation; the cat. # looks suspiciously like Arial Black which didn't even exist in 1967-68. The original cover had the cat. # in Vogue Heavy which was on {Image #929971}.
Also, {Images #527769 & 527770}, from H.V. Waddell, looks like a 1969-70 pressing, given the 2.875" pressing ring and additional 3.625" indent. At the time of first release, Waddell had an older style "deep groove" in the label area.
Added another set of cover and label variant images. This one is a 1980's pressing from pressng plant #53 (Hauppauge Record Manufacturing Ltd., Hauppauge, NY).
