Janet Eden - Come Go With Me / Walkin After Midnight (1957)
Beatles fans will know of "Come Go With Me" - John Lennon was playing it on stage with his band, The Quarrymen, when Paul McCartney first saw and heard him.

Texas Jim Robertson - Don't Look Now (But Your Broken Heart Is Stolen) / It Takes A Long, Long Train With A Red Caboose (To Carry My Blues Away) (1947)
Have made the new labels primary. What are the differences, by the way?

Blue Barron - Let Me In / Somebody's Thinking Of You Tonight (1951)
Can anyone confirm the label name? There's a label called MGM Golden Circle. Should that be it?

Billy Murray - The Grand Old Rag (1906)
I don't disagree, but the house style is to show the label. I think we should crop it and have the image with the etchings as a second image.

I have to say, when I first obtained this disc, I checked this very site for any other entries and didn't find any. The reason of course was that I searched for "Voice Records" rather than just Voice. I think others would tend to do that too - and if they were to just search for Voice, then Voice Records would show up anyway. So what I'm trying to say is, good change!

Victor Silvester And His Ballroom Orchestra - Till Then / My Heart Isn't In It (1947)
Main image could do with cropping again - it seems to include a white border, making the label appear smaller than usual.

I thought it was better with "records" - it's part of the name really, unlike, say "Parlophone Records" or "Decca Records". The gimmick is that you can record your own voice onto disc, hence you can make a "voice record".

I'd never heard of them before - pleased to see a couple of others on the site.

Billy Murray - The Grand Old Rag (1906)
Is there a reason for it to be cropped like this, with the etchings visible? If not, we can crop to the label edge.

Hope this is OK to stay on the site. It's a curious little record I found today - aluminium playing surface! I managed to find out a little via Google, like here.

Mr. Albert Whelan - Why Not Nationalize The Ladies / Susan Shy Shyly Sighed (1920)
I noticed that too and I think it's probably correct - although I don't know much about these old records. As he nominates the correct performer, maybe we should change this listing?

Mr. Albert Whelan - Why Not Nationalize The Ladies / Susan Shy Shyly Sighed (1920)
B-side title added from this source. The site lists the two sides other way around - not sure how to tell if there's an A-side or not.

Bing Crosby - It's A Lonely Trail (1939)
I think the continuous note on the B side is a test signal. Some vinly LPs had them on the promo copies. The label here looks like a standard white label, so I would guess this is a promo copy.

New York Military Band - Knights Of Columbus (1910)
I'm pretty sure it's a cylendar - check the label listing. If we don't get a definite reply from Scrough, I think we should go ahead and change it.

Robbie Williams - Millennium / Nimrod, Enigma Variations, Op. 36 (2000)
I saw a copy at Spittalfields Market yesterday. Didn't know it existed. I thought about buying it to add to the site (before I knew it was here already) but I would have felt dirty.

So do two of these discs have blank B-sides? Seems odd.

The B.B.C. Symphony Orchestra - The Planets Suite, Op. 32. Records 10, 11. (1945)
Rather than being called "records" 10 and 11, shouldn't these be called something like "parts" 10 and 11? It makes it sound as if this is a two-record release. Same goes for the rest of the 78s in the suite.

The Top Hits Of The Month Record Club Orchestra And Vocalists - Seventeen / Hummingbird (1955)
Added - label scans and images of original packaging. This record was sold by mail order only, and photos show the original mailing box, and a section of the branded tape used on it (the printed pattern repeated along the length of the tape). Original paper sleeve is lost.
