OldMod67 28th Nov 2024		Richard Barnes Mods!	@russh229: Mine had a load of pages come out too, though not as bad as the Who Maximum R&B book (1982) which has been kept in an LP plastic sleeve for decades. Also an Eel Pie publication, I presumed it was a manufacturing issue not just they were well read! However the Who book had a flexi enclosed, which may have weakened it.

If I can find them, I'll go through my 1996 FT issues. I have a couple of other books in this series, which IIRC came as a bonus with the magazine.

The original book had been out of print for many years and the original publishers who held the copyright were no longer in business. The images have uploaded here are from the 2006 facsimile.

Subsequently much of what he wrote in “To Hell Or Barbados” has been revealed as inaccurate and sensationalist, see here...ahh well, at least Damien Dempsey got a great song out of it...
