Monolith 29th Jun 2016 | | TVDetectorists (2014 - Now) | I thought the first one was okay, I detached myself from the original movie/series to give the new cast a fairer chance.
It wasn't "that" funny, but had a few smily moments, my missus has watched it about 6 times.
Maybe the second one will be better, but judged on the first I'll certainly give a new one a viewing.

Monolith 23rd Oct 2015 | | TVNot The Nine O'Clock News (1979 - 1982) | Stephenson was born in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand in 1949. She moved to Australia in 1964
|
Monolith 22nd Oct 2015 | | TVNot The Nine O'Clock News (1979 - 1982) | Yep, she was hot back then. I seem to be repeating myself, this is what happens when you get old.
|
Monolith 22nd Oct 2015 | | TVThe Incredible Hulk (1978 - 1982) | He may have invented it but I'd rather see someone like Salma Hayek having a wardrobe malfunction if that's okay.
|
Monolith 12th Oct 2015 | | TVB.J. And The Bear (1979 - 1981) | I remember it, not with any fondness but I do recall it.
|
Monolith 12th Oct 2015 | | TVFrasier (1993 - 2004) | David Hyde Pierce really made this for me.

|
Monolith 4th Oct 2015 | | TVCrown Court (1972 - 1984) | Quite happy to see the end of the TV tax, should be pay per view, if you want BBC then pay the license.
I'm forced to pay for a license that I'd quite happily give up. No choice in the matter.
Legalised theft.
Just scramble my BBC channels and stop stealing money out of my bank account.
Don't think it'll happen in my lifetime though, it'll take years for it to be agreed then another decade for it to be implemented.
The whole TV tax is an antiquated system that is being clung to in an age of multi channel, multi system digital television to support an over bloated egotistical narcissistic corporation.
All I want is the option to choose. Is that too much to ask?
I'm away for a lie down now.

Monolith 17th Sep 2015 | | TVCasablanca [1955] (1955 - 1956) | @skidoo, not gonna argue with you cos I don't know the real reason, probably the man himself is the only one who does.
But according to (again) IMDB there's at least 5 actors called Michael Fox and with no middle initials.
|
Monolith 17th Sep 2015 | | TVCasablanca [1955] (1955 - 1956) | According to IMDB:
Adopted the "J." as an homage to character actor Michael J. Pollard.
or
According to an interview with Fox, he originally decided to use the middle initial J instead of his own A because he didn't want teen magazines to use headlines such as "Michael, A Fox!".
(His middle name being Andrew)

|
Monolith 11th Aug 2015 | | TVThe Kit Curran Radio Show (1984 - 1986) | There's plenty of clips on YouTube if you look.
I would imagine most if not all the first series.
|
Monolith 11th Aug 2015 | | TVThe Kit Curran Radio Show (1984 - 1986) | Just to be pedantic the first series was called The Kit Curran Radio Show.
The second series was called Kit Curran.
They are listed as two separate shows as he and his mates were fired in the first series and set up a pirate radio station in the second, if memory serves.
Brian Wilde was Kit's new boss in the first series.

|
Monolith 28th Jul 2015 | | TVAdventures Of Superman (1952 - 1958) | I've seen bits of this and all I can remember is Reeves walking around showing his underwear, holding his gut in and looking far too old for the role.
Oh and the preceding Superman and the Mole Men was a painful watch as well, how the series got started after that is a super feat all by itself. LOL

Right we need some pitchforks, flaming torches and a lot of irate villagers and we're good to go.
Who's with me?
|
Monolith 27th Jul 2015 | | TVVoyage To The Bottom Of The Sea (1964 - 1968) | So what's The Fly then, a super hero like Iron Man or something?
