Electric Light Orchestra - The Very Best Of The Electric Light Orchestra (1989)
Couple of spelling mistakes on the label and the sleeve.
Sleeve lists B4 as Out of my head not Can't Get It out of my head

The label I've just added, they must have corrected it later, has A4 as Civil Woman

The Beatles - The Beatles 1958-1962 (2014)
The shrink wrap on my copy has a sticker with a different barcode to the one on the listing, would this be a UK code?

Marillion - Fugazi (1988)
I wondered that, I think it was said on the forum that fame issues tended to coincide with another release, so with Childhood and it's singles Kayleigh and Lavender being such a big successes for the band wonder if this LP was out '86 to cash in on their popularity.

If it is 88 then it goes with the live album Theiving Magpie's release?

Pink Floyd - Ummagumma (1969)
you've got a side 1 label which is the first pressing on the black label but side 2, 3 and 4 are later labels.

dunno if its a rarity, probably more an oddity :)

Marillion - Real To Reel (1985)
the yellow labels appear to be the earlier ones, on the early 80's dated releases

take a look at this I've just found by the way (just to make the fame issue a bit more complicated!)

Vinyl Album
The Beatles - The Beatles (1968)
roboleyton, just beenreading Spizers book on UK releases it says that all 4 labels were wrongly printed with sold in uk text (Added disc 2 above). However these were very limited and copies have only been confirmed with either disc 1 or 2 having it and the other disc correctly printed. Some LPs have also been discovered where only one label out of the four has the error UK label!

Vinyl Album
Electric Light Orchestra - The Night The Light Went On (In Long Beach) (1985)
Just got a chance to listen to this, can't believe how much better the sound quality is compared to the original Warner releases. I read elsewhere that apparently warner bros used a tape marked 'rough mix do not use' for their LP whilst CBS managed to get hold of the original tape to use for this album

An6y66

Vinyl Album
George Harrison And Friends - El Concierto Para Bangla Desh
Just found out from my dad that this was meant to be played on an autochanger, and the concert runs in the correct order side 1 of each disc then side 2 of each disc so that it worked on an autochanger.

Vinyl Album
Elvis Presley - Rare Elvis, Vol. 3 (1983)
Just picked up some of what I assume was an ex radio DJ's collection from a charity shop. Got this LP, rare elvis Vol 1, Acuff Rose: Elvis LP and an ELO Live Lp all with demo stamps/ embossing in the sleeve corners. But this and the other rare elvis along with the embossed sleeve have BBC stickers on one side. Never seen these before, does it mean they come from BBC radio station.
(Better pictures to come shortly)

George Harrison And Friends - El Concierto Para Bangla Desh
The labels number the sides for an autochanger system, but the tracks are on in the same order as the uk release, so playing by the autochanger system will reorder the order the album is meant to be olayed through.

Do we have rules for these discs where the side numbers are not in order. I've added the tracklisting Disc 1 side 1 then disc1 side 2, but should it have been added in order it is labelled i.e. Disc 1 side1 then Disc 2 side 1?
