Paul McCartney - Give My Regards To Broad Street (1984)
Well for me Ballroom Dancing on Broad Street knocks the Tug Of War version into a cocked hat. Has much more Verve & Vivacity to it compared to the monotone vocal and synthesised flat sounds on Tug Of War. The production on Broad Street may only be 2 years later but it may as well be light years away from it.

Paul McCartney - Give My Regards To Broad Street (1984)
Au contraire, other stand out tracks on this album would include Wanderlust, Ballroom Dancing and the whole of the 'B' Side, in particular Eleanor Rigby / Eleanor's Dream and possibly the best take ever of The Long And Winding Road. Overall I think the album stands out as one of McCartney's better efforts, certainly better than the awful Press To Play album.

Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band - Strictly Personal (1971)
I managed to find images of the later Sunset press labels and posted them here for comparison. You can see quite clearly the differences between the two issues. and you are right carryonsidney the later laminated sleeve was only laminated on the front with about about 1/4" to 1/2" flipped over on to the rear panel, I know mine didn't wear too well as the card used to make the sleeve was quite light and it was subject to wear very quickly.

Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band - Strictly Personal (1971)
When I first saw your comment ppint I wanted to reply straight away but thought I would do a bit more research before doing so. Strictly Personal was released in the UK 1968 on the Liberty label and you can get the relevant info here http://www.discogs.com/Captain-Beefheart-His-Magic-Band-Strictly-Personal/release/1783862 + here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Beefheart_discography. I couldn't remember off hand but I was sure the Sunset pressing still had the Liberty matrix numbers in the deadwax but scratched out. So I got into the attic and dug it out and I was right, My copy on Side 1 has the Liberty Matrix LBS 83172 A-2U + the Sunset matrix SLS 50208 A-2U. Side 2 has the Liberty matrix LBS 83172 B-2U + the Sunset matrix SLS 50208 B-2U. The vinyl weighs in at 147g and although the sleeve isn't laminated it is a better quality sleeve with thicker embossed card than the later laminated version. I did at one time own the second Sunset pressing and would agree that the quality is not as good as the first Sunset pressing which would probably be on a par with the original Liberty issue. The audio quality on my album is also excellent and definitely doesn't sound second rate to me

Focus - Focus 3 (1972)
They like to Yodel a lot. Focus III was the last time I heard them on vinyl and gave up on them shortly after that.

Lindisfarne - Nicely Out Of Tune (1970)
See what you've been missing ;-). If you haven't got it already, try Alan Hulls 1st solo album Pipedream. It's every bit as good as this

Grannie - Grannie (2012)
I actually ordered this from Record Collector on the 3rd April 2012 and they had released it just a short time before that. So the date would need to be around that

Paul McCartney And Wings - Red Rose Speedway (1987)
Added full set of scans for this issue of Red Rose Speedway on the Fame label. There is another issue with the "Fame" lettering being smaller and an EMI box underneath it. I'm not sure which one came first.

Paul McCartney - All The Best! (1987)
Added complete scans of the Promo Box for this album. Wasn't quite sure where it should go but I'm sure the mods will review and place in the right area. So this is the complete set of scans for this item, Box (Front, Back & Sides), all nine discs and one of the sleeves. All nine discs come in a plain black flip-back sleeve. Also included in the box is the signed Paul McCartney photo.

The Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] (1986)
Cheers An6y66. We're going in the right direction anyway. The marble effect on the disc I have to say looks really strange. I must try to scan an example and add it to the listing

I seem to remember seeing a lot of these in record shops in Belfast but it said "Irish Record Merchandisers Ltd" or "IRM" I take it these are one and the same company ??

Good point, but that is why I said in my original post that I knew absolutely nothing about it. The more info the better. Glad to see it's generated some interest at least. Keep the ideas flooding in

The Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] (1986)
I did know that but I had to put a date on the listing and the only one available is the one on the disc label. I also have the DMM coloured vinyls of the Red & Blue double albums and the White album which I know are later reissues. With lack of a reissue date I had to put the original date

Wings - Wings Greatest (1978)
Added Inner Sleeve & Label Scans. Just thought I would scan my front cover with price sticker. Cost = £5.99, would be nice if vinyl was still that price but you just have to laugh at where these stickers were placed, hardly a tiny & barely noticeable job
