TopPopper 19th Jan 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - 14 Powerful Hits (1972) | You're right, Azguard. This album is all cover versions. They were recorded in England and released on the budget label, Deacon. Half of this LP is from here and half from here.

TopPopper 7th Dec 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Playboy Club Bunnies - Caught Live (At The Playboy Club) (1969) | Which one's the bassist?
TopPopper 2nd Dec 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumWings - Wild Life (1971) | Out of interest, "Tomorrow" was a sequel to "Yesterday" - not just in the title, but in that it has the same chord sequence. Very different song, but basically the same chords.
TopPopper 1st Dec 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumJames Taylor - James Taylor (2017) | I read a review which said "Brighten Your Night With My Day" is not on the record. It's printed on the label, but is missing from the vinyl.
TopPopper 30th Nov 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - With The Beatles (1963) | Was the UK sleeve part of the Danish issue? If so, it should be the main image. If not, it doesn't belong on the page.
TopPopper 2nd Nov 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumGeorge Harrison - Electronic Sound (1973) | Should this be listed as Zapple, given the cat number details?
TopPopper 11th Oct 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - "Yesterday"...And Today (1966) | Should the butcher edition be made the primary image?
Mod Edit: Done.
TopPopper 6th Oct 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumRingo Starr - I Wanna Be Santa Claus (2017) | Track B2 a rare (but by no means unique) example of a solo Beatle recording a studio version of a Beatles song.
TopPopper 3rd Oct 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Abbey Road (1969) | Holes don't mean promo - they are a retailer's method of discounting stock which they hadn't sold. They would make a hole in the corner of sleeve and/or the label area of the actual disc, and then sell at a reduced price. The point of the hole was to prevent the buyer waiting until the price dropped before buying. The hole would encourage them to buy it at full price. Also meant the store could tell whether it was sold at a discount, in the event of refunds etc.

TopPopper 25th Jul 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - 1967-1970 [The Blue Album] (1973) | The coloured vinyl editions aren't all that rare, Mr Pasta. They do tend to be a little expensive though.
Here's the blue one. And here's the red one.
TopPopper 17th Jun 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Sunny Afternoon (1983) | Great comp. Has this album ever been issued on CD?

TopPopper 4th Jun 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Abbey Road (2017) | You are saying the exact same magazines (and therefore the LPs) are being retailed in several other countries, including Japan?
TopPopper 31st May 2017 | | Vinyl Album[no artist listed] - Geräusche In Stereo (Stereo Sound Effects 1) (1973) | Do girls (or guys) with very long hair place their headphones outside the hair, or do they make a parting so the headphone is in contact with the ear?
TopPopper 21st May 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (2017) | When you say "no locked groove", does this mean the gibberish is not there at all, or just that it doesn't repeat?
TopPopper 6th May 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumTijuana 70 - Plays A Tribute To Herb Alpert (1970) | Yes, I believe Deacon and Gallery issued simultanously. Not sure why they used two imprints. There's also the Heron label to add to the mix, which I believe was created especially for the petrol (gas) station retailer of the same name.

TopPopper 21st Apr 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumNic Jones - From The Devil To A Stranger | Hi Folker. In response to your change request, I have checked the images on this page and can see only a Highway edition - no scans of the Transatlantic pressing. Therefore, rather than create two pages, I've just changed the label name. If and when a Transatlantic copy is uploaded, I agree it should have its own page.

TopPopper 21st Apr 2017 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Top Of The Poppers - The Top Of The Poppers Sing And Play T.Rex's Greatest Hits (1973) | It's not as bad as you might imagine. The Poppers were OK with T Rex. It's Rod Stewart they really suffered with!
