Images Comments and Reviews ianbuckers 12th Jul 2021 "Can You Take Me Back" was never noted as a track in it's own right however it is a 'recognised track' on Brennan's Usenet Guide.
The problem with the OP now having deleted it is the track numbers are now incorrect...we have no D5 but still have a D7. Focus B 27th Jun 2021 My copy is 0199575. Would be nice to have a database as to which copies survive. One thing I've never known is, are the mono and stereo editions numbered seperately or not, eg: will a stereo 0000001 exist or not?
I'm playing my own copy as I write this. Always feeling sorry for records in poor condition I've managed to get it playable, although there was nothing I could do with the deep scratch during, Long Long Long . At least the rest of the double set is now playable, which wasn't the case before. The poster survives yet the photos do not. All matrix numbers end with -1.
I've never regarded this double set particulary highly to tell you the truth. Listening to it in mono has given me a fresh outlook. It's so much better, even if I miss the Helter Skelter reprise with the comment, "I've Got Blisters On My Fingers" that's missing on the mono! albert 22nd Aug 2017 Info overload on The White Album Project website. roboleyton 28th Nov 2015 Ringo's copy currently at $55,000 (£36,500)
(3/12/2015 $100.000)
4/12/2015 finally sold for $790,000 (= £524,955) JPGR&B SUBS25th Nov 2015 I've promoted the image of Ringo's copy to the top. Hope no one minds! jordansongs 25th Nov 2015 I know John and Yoko rented Ringo's flat in Montagu Square around about 68/69. Maybe John left his copy there and Ringo 'forgot' to return it... roboleyton 25th Nov 2015 I would of expected Paul, or John to have had Number 1, but then Ringo preferred Mono to Stereo anyway. jordansongs 25th Nov 2015 If ever there was a candidate for a primary image I reckon that's it Rob! roboleyton 25th Nov 2015 Uploaded image of Ringo Starr's Mono 0000001 copy currently up for auction see this page JPGR&B SUBS19th Sep 2015 If you have a copy, please register it at The White Album Registry . That would be great. sick and tired 29th Jul 2015 I have a Japan copy on the Apple label in stereo with a catalogue number EAS-77001/2. It’s supposed to be part of the UK collection and has a stamped number of A 330378 on the front jacket. roboleyton 23rd Jan 2014 Images 41769 to 41772, are 1981 re-pressings with 'An EMI Recording' in two lines nicoldo64 12th Jan 2014 Add Second pressing, November, 1968 with added “An E.M.I. Recording” text to the left of the labels. JPGR&B SUBS30th Aug 2013 You are absolutely correct BJ. Now deleted. Can You Take Me Back links Cry Baby Cry with Revolution 9 and possibly was intended to be part of one of these songs. The lyrics are not printed on the back of the poster with the album. BEATLEJOHN 30th Aug 2013 There is no recognized track "Can You Take Me Back" (on the banded US LP it's attached to "Cry Baby Cry")...John
